Initial Adjustment Period: During the first 30 days, you’re encouraged to use the mattress regularly to allow your body to adapt to the new sleeping surface. It’s common for mattresses to have an initial break-in period.
Assessing Comfort: Pay attention to how your body feels during this time. Are you experiencing better sleep quality, reduced discomfort, and improved overall well-being? It often takes a few weeks for your body to fully adjust to a new mattress.
Initiating a Return: If, after the 30-day adjustment period, you find that the Siesta mattress is not suitable for your needs, you can typically initiate a return.
To keep your Siesta mattress in tip-top condition, we highly recommend using a mattress protector. It adds an extra layer of defense against spills and stains, and the best part is, you can easily remove and wash it whenever needed.
If, however, you’re not using a protector, no worries! You can still maintain the pristine look of your mattress. Simply unzip the fabric cover using the convenient zipper. For any spots or spills, a mix of mild detergent and water works wonders for spot cleaning.
The upper portion of the cover is machine washable in cold water. Just remember to air-dry it to maintain its quality. Avoid the temptation to toss it in the dryer, as machine drying might lead to shrinkage.
And here’s a little laundry wisdom: When washing the top part of your cover, give it the solo treatment. This helps prevent color transfer or any unwanted fabric friction that could lead to pilling.
